Cristalplant® Biobased consists of 50% minerals and 50% polyester bio-resin. It is the very first eco-sustainable solid surface made from plant materials combined with pure, natural, inert minerals. A number of characteristics make this a fully sustainable product. The 30% resin, which previously was made from fossil fuels, has been replaced by plant-based polyesters; 50% of its composition is derived from aluminum-hydrate recovered from the extraction of aluminum. It is lighter than similar products currently on the market – its weight has been reduced by 30%, which means it produces less CO2, and is also easier to handle and install. It can be recycled and reused at the end of its life as an inert material, even when its surface is scratched or marked. It it also fire resistant.

Made entirely in Italy, Cristalplant® Biobased is certified as a “Leader in Energy and Environmental Design,” is low VOC, and plant-based for sustainability. The material was certified in 2011 for its use of vegetable starch and GMO-free corn resins. The material contains more than 12% of these resins when the minimum requirement is normally 5%.

Caring for Cristalplant® is both fast and easy. Clean Cristalplant® with soapy water or non-abrasive detergents to remove the majority of stains and surface dirt.

For superficial damage, the surface can be restored by using a 3M Scotch-BriteTM pad and a household abrasive cleaner.

Cristalplant® is a composite material comprised mainly of minerals and aluminum trioxide (75%) bonded with a small amount of resin. It is the highest quality solid-surface material, and is uniform with the same white color and a matte finish.

Cristalplant® is rigid, stable, noise and heat isolating, resists aging, and is soft to the touch.

Compolight is made of a mineral base with marble powder and combined with heat-hardened polyester resins and is formed using a vacuum.

Compolight is rigid, stable, noise and heat isolating, resists aging, and is soft to the touch. Compolight comes in a large range of shades and finishes.

Maintenance

Compolight can be cleaned using a sponge and a non-abrasive cleaner.

Scratches can be removed using 1200 grit abrasive paper, and it can be repaired if it gets chipped. In case of the glossy finish polishing with a polishing paste is necessary (available at AQUAdesign).

Our high-quality sanitary acrylic sheets (polymethyl methacrylate) are a few millimeters thick, and strengthened with resin and fiberglass.

Acrylic is a light-weight, yet robust and timeless material, with the color all the way through. It is soft to the touch and retains temperature, leading to a perfect, relaxing bath.

MAINTENANCE

Cleans easily with soapy water or a soft, non-abrasive detergent. Rinse with water.

Polyclean is a 100% recyclable material that is also flexible, economical, innovative, and particularly suited for use in the bathroom.
Polyclean replaces Plasticryl and is very easy to maintain, because of its reduced permeability to dirt, grease, and stains.

Maintenance

Easily cleans with soapy water or conventional, non-abrasive cleaners. Rinse with clean water.
